Hi
everyone! I started studying Psychology at University of Chile four years ago
and before I studied twelve years in the school, for this reasons I can´t
imagine studying in a post graduate program. I feel that I have been studying
in a formal education institution for much of my life, but I think that the
humans never stop learning, even don’t participating in an educational
institution. Once I graduated from University I believe that I would like
learning above theater and circus in self-managed workshops. I try don’t to think
so much about the future, because I think everything ends up changing, in addition,
my experience tells me that improvised plans are better. I am really tired of
formal education with its empty grades of content and its power games. I feel
that popular education organizations are very aware of the discomfort that
exists in formal education. I prefer to stay in Latin America doing circus,
theater or clown workshops, because I believe that in Europe (where everybody
wants to go) the essence of what art means to me is lost, since for me the art
is a method of resistance to power and generally, art in Europe is very
directed towards the classics, such as, Shakespeare, García Lorca or Dante
Alighieri, don’t questioning the structure of society. Best regards, Enrique.
